David Koerner, the I2G Infinity Two Global Compliance Attorney, and many I2G distributors wrote outstanding letters supporting Hosseinipour, vouching for her character. Koerner even flew to Owensboro to provide testimony in favor of I2G Infinity Two Global. Hosseinipour had requested her attorney to speak with David Koerner due to his extensive experience with compliance issues, including his work with Herbalife. He was well-qualified to explain why I2G was not a pyramid scheme and to affirm Hosseinipour’s good intentions.

Unfortunately, Hosseinipour’s ineffective attorney never consulted with Koerner and was unaware that he had traveled to Owensboro and could testify on her behalf. Inexplicably, Maike’s well-known trial attorney, Sol Wisenberg, decided to send Koerner home without allowing him to testify. Koerner was a strong advocate for Hosseinipour and I2G, while her attorney did not even realize he was present. This oversight highlights the inadequate legal representation she received. It was a significant setback for Maike and Barnes, especially since Koerner vigorously supported the I2G model and products, and could clearly demonstrate that I2G was not a pyramid scheme.

Additionally, since Maike’s expert on pyramid schemes and securities, Manning Warren, was denied the opportunity to speak on these issues the day before the trial, David Koerner would have been a strong substitute expert regarding pyramid schemes and compliance issues. He could have effectively explained why I2G was not a pyramid scheme. This oversight by Maike’s counsel was a significant mistake. Furthermore, Hosseinipour’s attorney’s failure to consult with David Koerner or the many distributors who wrote letters in her support was inexcusable. The lack of even minimal advocacy on her behalf resulted in her having no defense presented at her trial.

Attached is the post-trial letter from David Koerner to the Court on behalf of Hosseinipour. If the attorney supporting the field certified that I2G Infinity Two Global was not a pyramid scheme, how can there be no reasonable doubt that Hosseinipour would also believe this? Among the 31 impressive letters submitted in her support, many were from I2G distributors.
